INTRODUCTION
We Turn Waste in to Wealth
Greenium Eco started with a simple question: Why should cooking cost someone their health or our forests?
Every day, millions of women and children across Nigeria and beyond are exposed to toxic smoke from traditional cooking fires. In small, unventilated kitchens, the air becomes a dangerous mix of carbon monoxide, fine particles, and harmful gases, inhaled for hours each day. Women, who bear the primary responsibility for cooking, face higher risks of chronic respiratory diseases, heart problems, and even premature death. Children, often strapped to their mothers’ backs or playing nearby, breathe in the same polluted air, leading to coughing, pneumonia, asthma, and stunted lung development.
According to the World Health Organization, household air pollution from solid fuels claims millions of lives each year, with women and children the most affected. The tragedy is that this suffering is preventable.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we began turning agric-waste (things like crop husks and sawdust) into clean, affordable briquettes. We also build efficient cookstoves from recycled metal that use less fuel and make almost no smoke.
Today, Greenium Eco helps families cook safely, protect their health, and save money. At the same time, we’re reducing deforestation, cutting carbon emissions, and creating new jobs for women in low-income communities.
Our work is to take what’s usually thrown away, and turn it into something that makes life better for people and the planet.

What We Offer!
OUR PRODUCT
Clean Cookstoves
We design and manufacture durable, fuel-efficient cookstoves from recycled metal waste. Our stoves use less fuel, produce less smoke, and cook faster, helping families save money, protect their health, and reduce pressure on forests.
OUR PRODUCT
Briqcoals
We convert agricultural residues like rice husks, groundnut shells, and maize stalks into high-quality, low-cost briquettes. These briquettes burn cleaner and longer than firewood, offering a sustainable alternative that reduces indoor air pollution and deforestation.
OUR SERVICES
Tree Planting
Through our community-driven tree planting programs, we restore degraded land, combat climate change, and protect biodiversity. Every stove sold and every briquette purchased contributes to planting more trees across vulnerable communities.
OUR SERVICES
Soil Testing
We partner with farmers by offering free or subsidized soil testing in exchange for their agricultural waste. This not only helps us source raw materials for our briquettes but also gives farmers valuable insights into soil health, improving crop yields and promoting sustainable farming practices.

The Problem We Are Solving
Climate Change
- Traditional cooking methods rely on firewood and charcoal, accelerating deforestation and reducing carbon absorption capacity.
- Our clean cookstoves and briquettes reduce reliance on unsustainable wood fuel, cutting CO₂ emissions by up to 80% per household.
- Briquette production from agricultural waste transforms potential pollutants into clean energy sources, promoting circular economy practices.
Energy Poverty
- Millions of households in rural Nigeria lack access to affordable, reliable, and clean cooking solutions.
- Firewood collection consumes time and labor, often limiting women’s and girls’ opportunities for education and income generation.
- We provide affordable, sustainable energy alternatives that reduce fuel costs and free up time for more productive activities.
Health Risks
- Indoor air pollution from open fires causes respiratory illnesses, eye problems, and premature deaths, particularly among women and children.
- WHO reports that over 4 million people die annually from household air pollution.
- Our clean cookstoves emit zero smoke, improving indoor air quality and reducing health hazards.
Waste Management
- Large volumes of agricultural waste are often burned or left to decompose, releasing harmful greenhouse gases.
- Waste piles contribute to pollution, land degradation, and unhealthy living conditions in farming communities.
- Greenium Eco collects crop residues and repurposes them into clean briquettes, turning waste into a valuable energy source. This process reduces methane emissions, supports cleaner environments, and creates new income opportunities for local farmers.
We Train Our Women
We empower women with practical knowledge and skills to adopt sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. Through hands-on training, we teach women how to turn agricultural waste into clean cooking briquettes, use eco-friendly cookstoves, manage waste responsibly, and reduce dependence on firewood and charcoal.
